 SHREDFest is bringing all the action, excitement, and fun on bikes to Rancho Penasquitos! Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to experience a thrilling morning of epic rides and bike challenges.

 SHREDFest is all about having fun on bikes! Join us and our sponsors for a lively morning riding the CLIF pump track, teeter totters and pyramids, bike jumping, obstacle courses as well as games such as limbo and the all time favorite, anarchy island! Riders will traverse through numerous stations during the event and gain exposure to a variety of bike skills.

This is an ALL AGES event, if your youngest is on a strider bike or still learning to ride please be ready to assist them through the course.

PARENTS: This is an event for you to ride alongside your young rider, please book a ticket for yourself if you want to join.

EQUIPMENT: Functional recently serviced bike (mountain bike specific not required) and a positive attitude!

Ride Krew SHREDFest is all about fun, progression, and community on bikes! Join Ride Krew and our amazing sponsors for an action-packed morning of riding, games, and smiles. Riders will cruise through a variety of skill-based stations, including the CLIF pump track, teeter-totters, pyramids, jump lines, obstacle courses, and classic favorites like bike limbo and the always-epic Anarchy Island.

Throughout the event, riders will rotate through stations designed to build confidence, explore new bike skills, and—most importantly—have a blast on two wheels.

ALL AGES WELCOME
From strider bikes to confident shredders, this event is for everyone. If your rider is still learning or on a balance bike, please plan to assist them as they move through the course.

PARENTS RIDE TOO!
SHREDFest is a family ride experience. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to ride alongside their rider—please be sure to book a ticket for yourself if you’d like to join the fun.

EQUIPMENT
A functional, recently serviced bike (mountain bike not required), a properly fitted helmet, and a positive, ready-to-ride attitude!

Riding a bike is SO MUCH FUN and we want to help everyone enjoy this amazing, lifelong, outdoor activity!  This one day clinic provides a step-by-step process on how to confidently ride a bike.  Through engaging activities teaching and reinforcing skills we’ll have everyone rolling in no time!  Our friendly professional coaching staff in combination with a small coach to rider class ratio will help to overcome fears and teach important skills.  Learning the skills of paddling and wiggling will get every rider on the way to confidently start and stop, understand how to maneuver bikes around obstacles, and much more! Our fun, unique, and proven instruction methods will help everyone experience the joy of riding a bike!

Participants for this clinic should arrive with their own bike without training wheels.  Rider should be able to sit on the seat with their feet flat on the ground. The event is open to everyone age 4+.  For riders 4-12 years old, an accompanying adult may be needed to support their rider throughout the clinic.  Also, don’t forget hydration (water bottle or hydration pack) and a small snack.

PARENTS: Mom and Dad, do you need help learning to ride a bike as well?  Great news, we will teach you alongside your child!  Please sign yourself up as well.

Ride Krew, in partnership with OUSD, is bringing the stoke to Oceanside with a high-energy morning focused on bike safety, skill-building, and confidence on two wheels. SHREDFest is all about helping riders of all ages learn to ride smart, ride safe, and have a blast doing it.

Through fun, hands-on stations, riders will build safe habits by practicing the rules of the road—signaling, traffic awareness, and riding predictably around others—while developing essential bike-handling skills like balance, braking, and turning. Along the way, they’ll also learn key rider and equipment safety basics, including proper helmet fit and bike checks, giving them the confidence to ride their neighborhoods safely and responsibly.

This event is open to students of all ages and abilities. If your youngest rider is on a strider bike or still learning to ride, please plan to assist them through the course.
